"A flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. 'Can I interest you in the chicken?' she asks. 'Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it?'
To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked."

Yep. That about sums it up.
Now THAT was funny.
While I've commented elsewhere that David Sedaris (whom I generally love) misses the point with his warmed-over joke about Undecided Voters, my absolutely last word on the subject can be found in the latest piece: "Opens and Closes," at my www.undecidedman.com blog.
You gotta get up early to beat that "mr./ms. undecided" blogger who must stay up all night looking for posts with the word "undecided" in them. Here's his/her position:
"No, today I remain undecided because even after seeing the ups and downs, highs and lows of this campaign, I still feel that both John McCain and Barak Obama represent worthy, satisfying choices and I will be as proud to pull the lever for either of them as I am disappointed for not being able to vote for both (except, perhaps, in Chicago)."
WTF? Oh, I get it; in Chicago, you can vote more than once. Ha Ha.
Really, this blogger's position is that he/she will eat the pile of shit with glass in it and then order the chicken, if there's any left.
"my absolutely last word on the subject can be found...."
--Well at least we have that to be thankful for.
